Creating Workflows Based on Contact Stage

Introduction

Creating workflows based on the stage of your contacts can streamline your CRM processes and ensure that each contact is handled appropriately. This guide will walk you through the steps to create such workflows in Default.

Steps to Create Workflows

  1. Create a New Workflow: Choose the Default Contact Selected trigger.

  2. Begin Workflow Creation: Setup your workflow so it meets your needs. Make sure to publish the workflow when finished.

  3. Initiate Your Workflow: Navigate to the Contacts Page -> Filter by Stage -> Select contacts that you wish to run through your created workflow -> Popup will appear towards the bottom of your page -> Open the Actions tab -> Run workflow -> Select your workflow.

    Use-Case Tips:

    • Add Enrichment Objects: Use enrichment objects to gather additional information and match steps to verify if the account or lead/contact exists in your CRM.

    • Create Missing Leads/Contacts: If a lead or contact does not exist, use the "create object" feature to add them to your CRM.

    • Assign Records: Utilize the Round Robin object if you need to assign the record to a team member.
