Enable Calendar Sync
Enable Default to listen to Google Calendar webhook events in order to sync any scheduling updates within seconds.
This includes various actions such as:
🗑️ --> delete event from calendar, which allows you to remove events seamlessly without any delay.
Rescheduling of events from calendar (eg any method that is not the Default re-scheduling link).
If sync is not enabled, calendar changes can take up to 12 hours before they are updated in Default.
To enable sync:
Click on the vertical 3 dots next to the calendar "active" toggle
Select "enable sync"
FAQs
Q: Does Default support connecting multiple calendars?
A: Yes, you can connect multiple calendars in Default. Just follow the same steps above. If you have multiple calendars, you need to choose one as the primary calendar. Default will use the primary calendar to send updates and events.
Q: Does Default sync calendar changes to events?
A: Default will not natively sync calendar updates without your authorization. It is recommended to enable sync once you have a calendar connected. Calendar sync is only supported for Google Calendar at this time.
