Routing Overview
Use Default to effectively route leads through Queues, Segments, and Territories.
Routing is the process of routing a inbound lead through the various checks & balances to get them to the right representative within your organization.
Default has three objects that are involved in the routing process:
-
Queues: consists of a group of members (queue members), generally SDRs or AEs, and are involved in receiving inbound leads - likely from a “Book a Demo” form.
-
Territories: Geographic areas defined by plain text rules using regions, countries, states, cities, or zip codes to determine lead location.
-
Segments: Market divisions within territories, defined by plain text rules to specify business categories such as Enterprise or Mid-market.
Queues
Create a Queue in Default to route leads within a set of pre-determined members.
Territories & Segments
